In Which an EVERNEATH quote Makes it Into a Pakistani Newspaper

In one of the stranger instances where an EVERNEATH quote has popped up, the below article appeared today in a Pakistani newspaper. For the full article, click here.

Personally, I like how this debonaire man is looking pensively out the window, and then my caption makes it seem like he is contemplating the making of heroes.

I do this all the time. I grow some facial hair, dot a mole on my cheek, use light and shadow to make my cheekbones stand out, and then stare out the window, ruminating on the questions of life, like how are heroes made? And why do people waste money on department store mascara when grocery store mascara is just as good? And did I turn the oven off?

I'm happy to be quoted anywhere, especially in a country I love as much as Pakistan. If you didn't know about my love for Pakistan, you can click here and here

  2. OMG! That's so cool!

No offence but can I ask why you love Pakistan? I'm Pakistani by my ancestry and I wouldn't say I love the country but am saddened to see the state it is in.

    1. I do love it. My husband did some work in Pakistan and I got to travel there with him. We made a lot of friends and had such a great time. I think it was one of the funnest trips I've ever been on, and I always wanted to go back.

We were in Lahore. I didn't get to see much of the rest of it. :)

    2. That's so cool!

I guess it's different for a tourist. Everytime I go, I'm stuck in an air conditioned room because I'll "get ill if I go outside" and have to "behave like a good girl". Pakistan can get very boring like that.

Fortunately, last time I went, I got to see the mountains around Islamabad which was nice. I had to return to England earlier than planned though so didn't get to see as much as I was hoping to.

I love Lahore but it gets way too hot there!!

  4. That's hilarious. I mostly love how the article itself has nothing to do with EVERNEATH. You're quotable!!

    1. It makes me even happier it has nothing to do with EVERNEATH. I'm rarely quoted ever, let alone outside of the book!

  5. Wow. That is just mind boggling. Especially the part where you randomly grow facial hair.

    Pakistan?

  11. I'm really loving the theme/design of your weblog. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility issues? A couple of my blog visitors have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?
Look at my page GFI Norte
