Prepare to Sing this Blasted Song All Day Long... Starring, Kid B

Howdy.

Kid B started school yesterday, but before he did, he decided to help me make a slideshow of him, so I wouldn't forget him.

Keep in mind, there are no duplicate pictures. He really did pose for each and every one. Yes, there are quite a few of him yawning, but that's because he saw a preview of himself yawning, and decided he liked that pose the best.

We set the pictures to his favorite song. And mine. And soon to be yours. (I promise you you'll be singing it all day long.)

Now, every time I miss him, I have this video to turn to.

  3. How thoughtful of him to make sure you could never forget him!

My brothers sang that song to me once when I was, oh, 11 or so, but they changed the lyrics to "Rolly, polly fish eggs." See, my grandma was over and had made tapioca pudding, which I'd never had before. Or since. I can't even stand the sight of it. Ick.

  4. Jenilyn- We used to call tapioca pudding "fish egg pudding" too! So funny.

  5. Kid B rocks. A hundred pics and 90 of them are him yawning so he could see what it looked like. Good stuff.

That song reminds me of growing up and hearing it on Dr. Demento.

  6. Yeah, see, I'd never heard that song before. I think the world was a better place without it. Thanks a lot! :P

    Cute kid, though! :)

  8. I can tell you are going to miss that kid. He is so stinking cute! But I can't say the same about the song...Never heard it before, can't get it out of my head. And yet, I'm somehow craving tapioca pudding.

  9. Erin- I know! Me too! We need to convince Mom to make us some, just like the old days.

  11. Before I even started the slideshow...I could hear the song! I remember it fondly from my childhood! Kid B is adorable (unless he is at the age where is that a bad thing - if so, change to handsome) and what a thoughtful gift for his mommy. However, it makes me wonder WHY he thinks you could forget him. Funny!

  12. Eden- it helped that I had Madonna's "Vogue" playing in the background.

    Oooh, that sounds so creepy.

Una- It's because he knows how my brain works. I think every day I remember his name is a pleasant surprise for him.
